It's one thing to have a nice bed, it's another thing to have good staff. In the case of this hotel, they have both! The staff was really friendly, smiling a lot and had patience with all or questions, great! The housekeeping really had eye for detail! The food was good, a lot of choice. I was a little bit nervous about the food in advance, but there was a lot of choice for vegetarians and vegans, but there were clear signs and even a lot of choice between hot and cold dishes The only critique I can think of, is that the entertainment could turn their volume a little bit down.

Wow, this place was amazing. Wish I was still there now. Cleanliness was A* sanitising stations were everywhere and mask wearing was compulsory whilst moving around the hotel. All this being said, the vibe was relaxed so you still felt as if you were having a really good holiday. The staff work incredibly hard and were super friendly. The hotel wasn't very full as you can imagine, nor was it a ghost town. The animation team did everything to ensure that both the daytime and evening entertainment was enjoyable. I've never done so much aqua aerobics or played as much tennis! The gym is small, clean and fit for purpose. (you need to pre book your slot) 2 pools. The one closer to the bar is heated (sort of) the upstairs pool was freezing. I'd recommend lounging around the upstairs pool as it gets better sun as it's not as shaded. There was a good selection of food, to suit most peoples requirements. It was sometimes a little cold, but the commercial microwave soon sorted that out. It was approx 15mins walk to the beach and close to bars and restaurants should you wish to venture out. The Yumbo centre was approx 10mins walk which was nice on an evening too. Definitely recommend.

Returned to Las Margaritas after 25 year’s to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary and had to write a review. We have had the most wonderful and nostalgic holiday. The room we were allocated, although immaculate, was not suitable to our needs, which was my fault for not making a special request at booking. However, even after unpacking, using the room and showering, when I mentioned it to reception I cannot believe how helpful and accommodating they were. We were given another room to meet our needs, they offered to help us move and were absolutely fantastic, as were all the staff. Service at the bars was very good, plenty of choices for food and never had to wait for a table, which were always clean and laid ready. The room was kept immaculate as were all other areas including the pools. Lifeguards were helpful around the pool with plenty of sun beds and parasols. Balinese bed area was very quiet and perfect retreat. Thank you to all the staff, we will be back, but won’t leave it another 25 year’s.
