Alternate your beach holiday with a wonderful day at one of these fantastic water parks. Aqualand Aqualand, or Aquasur, is one of the largest water parks in Gran Canaria. You can splash and have fun here all year round. No fewer than 33 spectacular water slides, ranging from narrow to wide, from short to long, from light to dark and slides where you can whiz down with a rubber boat or mat. Global's modern buses are air-conditioned and will take you everywhere at affordable rates. Most buses run on the main road, Avenida de Tirajana. Public transport links Playa del Inglés with other seaside resorts along the south coast and towns in the north of the island. There are also several bus connections with the airport and with the capital Las Palmas. The buses run less frequently to smaller towns and villages, but they do cover all corners of Gran Canaria. You can pay on the bus or buy a bus ticket in advance at a kiosk or at a bus station. Prices vary from € 3 to € 10. You pay less than € 5 to travel from the airport to Playa del Inglés by bus. Transport by taxi in Gran Canaria is a lot cheaper than domestically and taxis are easy to get, especially in the touristy, larger resorts such as Playa del Inglés. You will find a taxi on almost every street corner. Taxis are required to have a taximeter. The short journeys are registered with this meter and for a few euros you can go a long way. We often work with a fixed price for common routes. These are indicated at the taxi ranks. For longer journeys, you can agree a price with the taxi driver in advance.
